Its battery system allows for a charging rate of 185 miles per hour using a 50kW charger plugged into a 400-volt outlet,  which will be fully charged in one hour. Unfortunately, Aston Martin has confirmed that the production of the Rapide E will be limited to 155 cars only and rumor has it that all 155 have been pre-sold.

  1. Mercedes Benz EQC

The Mercedes Benz EQC will be the first electric car  built from scratch by the renowned automaker. The 2019 sports more stylish and modern looks in comparison to other Mercedes SUVs.  Despite its weight, the EQC is said to accelerate from 0-62mph in about 5 seconds producing around 402 hp. When fully charged, it will cover a range of 280 miles. Top of the range technology including the MBUX infotainment will also be included in the all-electric 2019 production.

The Porsche Taycan is also the first electric car from the luxury automaker. Even though it was first showcased as the Mission E during the  2015 Frankfurt Motor show, Porsche has since changed the name of this luxurious electric car to Taycan. Names notwithstanding, Porsche has ensured that it retains its reputation for explosive drives by giving the Taycan two permanently synchronous motors (PSM) to produce more than 600 hp and cover 0 to 62mph in less than 3.5 seconds. According to the automaker, the Taycan will have a driving range of more than 310 miles per charge. Already in high demand, rumors have it that Porsche has had to increase the number of productions to cope with the demand and the dwindling pre-sold vehicles.
