Whether you’re looking for an Audi or a Toyota, Dubai has it all. Just take a quick drive down Sheikh Zayed Road and you will see all the major car dealerships; they’re packed like Starbucks in New York City. Starting with the new Bentley dealership on the north side of Sheikh Zayed Road, quickly followed by Alfa Romeo on the south side, and then in quick succession we have Peugeot, Subaru, Seat, Audi, Mercedes, Volkswagen, and Porsche, and we haven’t even reached the next metro station! Operating hours for car dealerships are typically from 10 AM to 8 PM, 7 days a week, except for on Saturday, when they’re open a little longer in the evening. During Ramadan, hours are usually split: 9 AM to 3 PM and 8 PM to 12 AM.
If you’re looking to replace your current car, it is worth getting a trade-in price by the showroom to go towards your new car. But if you’re looking to get the best deal for your used car, it’s also worth bringing it to WeCashAnyCar.com’s offices at 8 25A Street in Al-Quoz Industrial Area 3, conveniently located nearby the RTA’s Al-Barsha branch and next door to Gold & Diamond Park. WeCashAnyCar offers a free car valuation, inspection, and a guaranteed purchase offer all within 30 minutes, for any car in any condition. OK, our shameless plug is over, back to the tips and advice!
As car dealerships are very sales oriented, there is often a big push to meet sales targets at the end of each month. We advise that you visit the dealership near the end of the month, preferably during non-peak hours such as on Sunday morning. This way, you get a salesperson with the time to fulfill all your needs and one who is willing to make greater concessions in your negotiations. Near the end of the month, salespeople are more eager to meet their sales targets. If they’ve already reached their target, they will be looking to pad their month-end numbers.
Dealerships will usually try and upsell you a whole range of products and services that you may or may not want. Financing, payment protection insurance (PPI), extended warranty, gap insurance, paint protection, window tinting, service contracts, mud flaps, spare interior mats, and even key chains! So be sure you do your due diligence and only pick the services that benefit you.
